Cru Military was established in 1965 as Military Ministry. They have more than 400 full and part-time staff and hundreds of volunteers across the US and in Europe. Cru Military is a special part of Cru that creates outreach programs to give care to the families of those deployed or at home. Their focus is on developing people and resources that can meet the spiritual and practical life needs of local military communities. Based on the success of our Cru on campus launch, the Military Ministry (at the time, soon to be re-branded to Cru Military) approached our small team of three to help them create a new web presence. They agreed to have us walk them through a content strategy primer and that got the ball rolling for quick wins in determining site features and the overall design direction. We were able to swiftly move on to wireframing using real content to get the right idea of how to treat their newly branded content. We completed the new design and delivered all the design files to them. They took over management of further development through an contractual partnership with another development group.
